Headteacher Weekly Bulletin 2nd October 2019

Hello Everyone,

This is one of those weeks when I have been busy covering lessons and so this is just a brief note.

The most important thing happening next week is our individual and sibling photos on Thursday 10th October. As you will know this year we are doing something extra; opening up the photos from 8.30 am so that pre-school children can be in a family photo together if you so wish. We thought that it was a nice opportunity for a professional photo to be sent to the families in time for Christmas. Please enter through our hall doors for 8.30 start. We will have a waiting area for you.

Please don't forget your paperwork to arrange sibling photos especially across the two schools.

On Monday, Miss Higson and Mr Irvine are off to see some chickens at Park Road School, Timperley as we want to progress our chickens and eggs project!

It's Harvest Assembly on Wednesday. Please continue to bring in donations for Stretford Foodbank. I will attach a copy of the letter on this page so you can  check the items needed.

Help needed!

We have an E Safety assesment day on Friday 11th October. They are judging us for the 360 Quality Mark. We would love some parents to come in at 9.00 am to talk to the assessor about how school helps pupils learn about online safety. Special request for our Digital leader's parents in there too! we have biscuits...Any queries, please pass them to Miss McEvoy in 4M or Mr Ward 6I.

Please have a look on our website 'how to keep my child safe online' for lots of links and helpful advice.

Thank you for your continued support and I will write a fuller news bulletin next week!

Kind regards, Mrs Nunwick
